Q: Why natural skincare?

While we are all aware of the importance of healthy eating and reducing our intake of processed food, not many of us take the same amount of care when it comes to skincare, forgetting the fact that the products we put on our skin will be absorbed by the body. Most commercial skincare products on the market today contain numerous synthetic additives that not only weaken our natural defence systems, but can also cause unsightly skin irritations, rashes and debilitating allergies. Even the so-called natural cosmetics aren't always as natural as they seem. Most are highly processed and their 'natural' powers have been completely diluted by the time they hit the shelves.
